What is your Infrastructure Security Setup?
We operate highly secure and redundant infrastructure with bare metal nodes across multiple data centres in various regions and elements in the public cloud.
Our infrastructure estate is monitored 24/7 by a team of experienced on-call engineers to ensure continuous uptime and performance. We make use of state-of-the-art cryptography to secure and manage our key material inside the firm to protect against key compromise and slashing risks.
What is your teams expertise / track record?
Our team has a long history with blockchain technology going back to our founders hosting the Epicenter podcast since 2013. Chorus One is one of the first independent, crypto-native staking providers in the industry that has helped launch networks including the Cosmos Hub and Solana since 2018.
Our diverse team comes from backgrounds in web2 tech companies, the financial industry, as well as academia.
How do you handle Governance Decisions?
Every governance proposal is thoroughly discussed between the research team, protocol specialists, experts, and – in controversial cases – our community. For proposals with a significant impact on the future of the network, we publish material on how we arrived at the decision on our social media channels.
